Re: How should this book discussion be formated?
I like the way the free-form discussion is going in the "A Peace to End All Peace" forum, but I don't think that's appropriate for a fiction book. The most basic problem is that people like to control the flow of information -- without some kind of correspondence between thread and chapter, it's easy to run across spoilers.
I haven't taken a look at the basic structure of the book yet (still need to get a copy), but if there's no larger division into parts or books, I'd say 11 thread covering three chapters each sounds like a good balance.
Another question that springs to mind, though: will two months give us enough time? It's a pretty long book, and we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to finish and discuss during the official time frame.
