How about some Sci-Fi....
I was reading through the forums an haven't found many good Science Fiction Books being endorsed. Let's change it up a little and read through some good old fashioned glimpse at the future stuff.

I personally am a big fan of Asimov, Orwell, and others however, there are several good writers that are lesser knowns an independants that I've read. Greg Cox, who does Star Trek novels like "The Eugenics Wars" series, seemlessly combines past historical events with his origin story. Michael Reeves is also good at bringing some coherence to Star Wars stories as he did in "Shadow Hunter". "M a x i s" by Jo hn T. Sc hep ise is a fairly new release but as I read it I am forced to conclude that this guy worked for Nasa or something because of the great detail he gives weapons and vehicles and other technology. Lastly Dave McDanial's "The One" is a really great book I read a few years ago. Although it is massive at over 250,000 words, it keeps you interrested throughout. He also wrote "The Priestess".
So any love for Sci-Fi out there?

Dave50150 and MercBruce are the same person. This sort of thing really bothers me and is a violation of Rule 2 and 3 of our forums. What bugs me the most is that we welcome and even encourage authors to share their books on BookTalk.org. We just don't want authors to play us for fools and lie to us.
