The Second Son By New York Times Bestselling Author, Charles Sailor 12 weeks on the NY Times Bestsellers List!

Charles Sailor's classic novel is a powerful drama, taut with intrigue and suspense. But THE SECOND SON also tells a story of passionate love between both a man and a woman, and between man and God. It offers entertainment as unforgettable as it is provocative.

Please give to the abused and neglected kids at the ...
Last Christmas (2010) BookTalk.org members helped make Christmas a little brighter for the abused and neglected children living at the Cleveland Christian Home by donating a total of $558.09 towards the purchase of Christmas gifts. We're going to do it again this year because the ordeal these kids are going through is still just as real and painful for them one year later.
Christmas is the saddest and most depressing time of the year for children who have been abused and neglected by their own families. It is a time when these young people are forced to face the reality that they aren't loved or wanted by the very people that should care about them more than life itself. New BBCodes are now available!
We've added some really nice new BBCodes that will make your forum posts a lot more customizable. You can get an explanation for all of the available BBCodes at faq.php?mode=bbcode. Near the bottom of that page you will see a "New tags" section that describes all of the new BBCode tags.
You should probably test these out in the Tutorials and Testing Forum, which is a subforum to the About BookTalk.org Forum.

Faster than light? What happens in science when big ideas change.
For those not keeping up with the news from CERN, it looks like neutrinos might travel just a tiny bit faster than light.
So what now? Time for everybody to panic? Time to burn somebody at the stake? Time to throw Einstein out the window?
No. Time to confirm. Time for the people at CERN to turn over their data and let everyone else try to duplicate their results. If they can't, then they will figure out what went wrong. If they CAN, then we refine our understanding and move on.
If true, this does have big implications. But being wrong is the portal to knowing the truth, if you are able to accept the failure of your previous notions.
