It is still snowing and bloomin' freezing. Only minus 6 degrees at the moment, which by Canadian standards I know is chicken feed.
We went to collect our free range turkey from the farm today, and we slid up the drive to the farm and tobogganed back down with the turkey in my VolksWagon Polo. It was very exciting.
I've been making mince pies again tonight, and tomorrow I will cook a ham to carve and eat over Christmas. I'll cook the Turkey on Christmas morning. I was to have had twelve people to dinner on Christmas Day but now it is nine because the weather doesn't permit the ones to travel from the South. Anyway, they hope to come for the New Year instead. I am to be a grandmother again..,.....so that is the best Christmas present ever, from my son.
I'm waffling on again aren't I? I'll do a Christmas blog tomorrow......

Mince pies used to be common in our stores though rarely made at home but they have all but disappeared over the decades though I do enjoy one every so often at Christmas.
Exciting news about the addition.
We had a family from Scotland visit church Sunday. Their son was not with them having become stuck at Heathrow for 3 days.
