High Voltage by Chris Carter
Searching for a new sci-fi book, my friend suggested to me a book called High Voltage.
High Voltage is a Sci-fi,which was written by Chris Carter. High Voltage revolves around a youth named Clyde Watts who is a very intelligent young man with a lot of potential, but is socially awkward, timid, shy, and unconfident. After having a less than perfect day on first day of high school, fate decides to hand Clyde superpowers after a truck accident and chemical spill. With these powers bestowed upon him, Clyde decides to take on a superhero persona named Wire when he realizes he is the only one who can save the city from mutants who have also gained powers from the chemical spill. As a superhero, Clyde must thwart regular crime, stop mutants from causing mayhem around the city, become more confident, and face off against an arch enemy who sees the mutants as a way to take over the entire city.
Over all I thought this book was very intriguing, it is written like a script, and according to the author on his deviant art page, he has high hopes of making this book into a cartoon series one day. I really want to talk to people about this book, but not a lot of people have read it yet.
