Hello
I'm so happy to have foud you
I'm Vanessa..i'm 42 and live in Fort Mill,SC..
I'm engaged to a wonderful man Steve and i have one daughter Brittany who is attending college in Tennessee. Oh and i can't forget my little chihuahua Muffin.
I'm my free time besides reading i love to run,lift weights and yoga. I have run two half marathons but now i my longest runs are 10k's.
I love fiction and non-fiction books. I'm waiting for Augusten Burrough's new book to come into my bookstore " A Wolf at the Table" I have loved his other books.
I guess that's all for now...i look foward to meeting you all  |

Welcome to BookTalk. I've done some 10k runs when I was younger and applaud you for the ability. I know what goes into long distance running. But it sure feel sgood when you get into the zone.

Welcome, Vanessa! I'm a newbie myself, still learning my way around.
I'm originally from SC, so I actually know where Fort Mill is. But as to the running ... my knees insist they prefer cycling.
I'll be interested to hear what you think of the new Burroughs. The reviews I've seen scare me a little; this sounds like a much darker book than the earlier ones. And that's saying something when you think about the things that happen in those. |
