Hello,

My name is Cindy. I'm a middle aged mother of three and middle school librarian living in a very provincial community in northeast Ohio. We don't have many freethinkers in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

A series of links brought me here.

I heard about a new book on NPR that I'm very interested in reading. The title of the book is Dominion. The author is Matthew Scully. Scully writes about industrial farming.

Has anyone read this book?

Hi Cindy:

Welcome to BookTalk. I'm fairly new myself but find the site intriguing. Middle School Librarian? I have a great respect for school librarians and the potential they have to influence children's reading. I volunteer in my local elementary school as a tutor, mostly reading and science, and often go with my students to the library to select material. I also write and have donated some of my novels for young people to the school library. Hope you have a good time here and find it as informative as I already have.
