Happy Koriteh!
Today marks the end of the Muslim month of fasting (Ramadan) so everyone is very happy. The children put on their best clothes and wander around the streets asking for 'salibou' (sort of like the money we give to carol singers). Everyone visits each other, and sit around drinking attayaa (green tea) and chatting. I was just told that it's not only children that can ask for salibou but the elderly as well. Hmm. I think I might just try that!

I really love when you share photos and stories. You can tell the kids are all in super clean and nice clothing. And they're all smiling!
