| Hi, my name is Grace. Currently I'm a student in New York. I'm also a writer. Although typically I would be considered too young to write I try to defy that through my words. I haven't finished one book I am looking to publish in the near future...however impossible that may be. It is a gritty young adult work that takes place in a parallel world. The whole message of the book deals with revolution, fanaticism, and the constant parallels with world powers and history. By the time I die I want to write this absolutely EPIC tale that I've got in my mind...yet not on paper. A tend to hang out with artists, especially actors. Some would call me bohemian but I like to think of myself as simply Grace. Right now I'm going through a phase of Victorian literature. In the past month I've read Jude the Obscure, Madame Bovary, and am about to begin a Tale of Two Cities. I adore Shakespeare, greek play writes, and modern day play writes. My two favorite plays are Antony and Cleopatra and the Lion in Winter. My favorite books are His Dark Materials, Madame Bovary, The Stranger, The Higher Power of Lucky, really everything as long as its well written. But I mainly read classics, even though I don't enjoy them as much as some genres...however I've always tried to challenge myself. |

| Welcome to Booktalk! I know how hard writing can be, because I write poetry when I can. I haven't had a chance to write in a while due to my job and moving to where I live now. If you want a good classic, try either Dracula or Frankenstein (both if you can get them in a two-in-one combo!) |

Welcome!
Hey, we're the same age. And we both try to write books. That's cool.
I'm not that far with my story though.
I hope, you have a good time at this forum. |
