Re: Christians who are not ashamed of it need to STAND UP!
I think it's more likely we'll find ourselves submerged under the oceans, engulfed in flames, crushed under falling debris or undergoing asphyxiation from science-created noxious brews! The promised land religion and science offers is nothing more than a house of cards. But maybe you're using 'science,' a value-neutral term as anything, as shorthand for the creative process of humans rather than as some sort of supernatural entity. And it's here that your science fall down - people. We may be undeserving of 'original sin' but we're also unworthy of absolute trust. And I'm reminded now of a former search, not for God or science, but for utopian books - I can't recall finding one. I'm sure they're around, but the fact is, 9 out of 10 authors agree with me in this.
