Chapter 8 & 9 make me sleepy
I have struggled to remain interested in these two Chapters to no avail. Fortunately, there are so many great chapters I can overlook these boring ones.

WAKE UP!
Hehe. I finished chapter 2 yesterday. I thought it was boring. It made some interesting points about why certain groups of people have been more successful than others, but the description of the varying climates and geology of the Polynesian islands didn't exactly have me on the edge of my seat. Oh well, chapter 3 is next and I hear that it is much more interesting.

Ch. 3 is awesome, but sad. It will remind you of "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" in that it is a great example of mans inhumanity to man.
