she says that while she orders a book at amzon.fr she often clicks on a box they have (I've never tried) which offers the possibility of seeing what other amazon.fr customers are ordering at the very moment.
During the day they buy bona fide books, but very late at night they all seem to be buying erotica, says my friend!
So the question is: Do buyers on the internet buy different things according to the time of day? I'd say that's unlikely.
So, does cunning amazon filter orders, so as to show cookery books during the day and erotica at night? |

I think people do view erotica late at night more than during the daylight hours. People have jobs, spouses and children around during the day, so the evening is when they can surf for porn more openly. Naturally, I say this not from personal experience, but from academic analysis.  |

Of course! I had thought those were lonely guys living on their own, but the porn industry would hardly flourish if it had to rely on those customers only.
The people I know who have teenagers sometimes worry about what the teens may be up to in terms of using the phone or the net while the parents are alseep.
So, in fact, what is everybody up to when using the net unobserved at 3 am? |
