Best Quote Ever?
Sally Kerns hates The Gay.
Quote:
"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades. So it's the death knell of this country. I honestly think it's the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam — which I think is a big threat, okay? Cause what's happening now is they are going after, in schools, two-year olds...And this stuff is deadly, and it's spreading, and it will destroy our young people, it will destroy this nation"
So, there you have some honest fear-mongering and armagheddon courting.
Quote:
"I was talking to a group of Republican activists telling them about a group of homosexual millionaires who, for years, have been working secretly to change the society of America, the political side of America, so that there will be freedom and equality for everyone." --- Oklahoma Rep. Sally Kern, August 7, 2010
That does sound scary.
Sally Kern, ladies and gentlemen.

Ya think?
What always amazes me when I read statements such as those from Sally Kerns, is that they are projecting homosexuality as something new, that they themselves have discovered this new and potentionally toxic component in our society.
"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades."
What society is she talking about? Human society? If this were true, we all would have died a few thousand years ago.

Re: Best Quote Ever?
I love it whenever somebody says homosexuals are trying to "corrupt their children" and "destroy this nation." Because, you know, making children aware of global issues and defending peoples' constitutional rights is destroying the country. I mean, you know, homosexuality is more likely to kill everyone than, say, nuclear bombs.
It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so damn sad.

yeah that sounds totally communist . We should see if we can make the American people believe that freedom and equality is some kind of left-wing, hippie, pro-communist agenda. I bet you we absolutely can.
