Advertising Information for Authors & Publishers
Advertising Information for Authors & Publishers

BookTalk.org welcomes authors and publishers to use our community as a marketing tool to reach a vast audience of book lovers. While your best option is to purchase ad space we do welcome and encourage authors and publishers to tell us about their books on our forums.

OPTION 1: Buy Advertisement Space

If you'd like your book, product, service or website to receive maximum exposure then purchase an ad. Our rates are lower than what you'd expect for such a high-traffic website. We have numerous advertisers that have been advertising consistently with BookTalk.org for over 4 years. BookTalk.org boasts over 12,000 members between our forums and Facebook page, a Google Page Rank of 5, and between 400,000 and 600,000 monthly page views.

OPTION 2: Tell Us About Your Books On Our Forums

A free complement to paid advertising is the opportunity to tell us about your books on our forums. Our book discussion forums are free and open to anyone including authors and publishers. Just register a free forum account and tell us about your books in either the Fiction Book Forum or Non-Fiction Book Forum.

Please do not post about your books in the Introduce Yourself forum and do not introduce yourself if you have no intention of interacting with members. If you're here just to tell us about your books (and this is perfectly acceptable) go straight to the Fiction Book Forum or Non-Fiction Book Forum and skip the personal introduction. When on the forums please follow our simple RULES especially Rule #2.

IMPORTANT NEWS:

Starting December 1, 2015 we will no longer accept mailed books in exchange for ad space. For years now the number of books mailed to BookTalk.org each week has grown almost exponentially. We now receive more books than we can possibly advertise so this option is simply no longer feasible.

We have lowered some of our ad prices so newer authors and authors on limited budgets can afford to advertise. Please consider purchasing ad space.

Authors and publishers are still welcome to mail books but we will not advertise them. We reserve the right to do whatever we chose with any books mailed to us including selling, donating, or awarding them to members.

BookTalk.org is a free book discussion group or online reading group or book club. We read and talk about both fiction and non-fiction books as a group. We host live author chats where booktalk members can interact with and interview authors. We give away free books to our members in book giveaway contests. Our booktalks are open to everybody who enjoys talking about books. Our book forums include book reviews, author interviews and book resources for readers and book lovers. Discussing books is our passion. We're a literature forum, or reading forum. Register a free book club account today! Suggest nonfiction and fiction books. Authors and publishers are welcome to advertise their books or ask for an author chat or author interview.
