Anyone want to donate a few dollars?

Our ezBoard bill is about due and our new chat room costs $28 per month. Anyone that appreciates BookTalk and wants to donate a few dollars please don't hesitate. Donations and fees generated from book sales and Google links don't come close to covering the costs associated with operating BookTalk, so any generosity on your part would mean a great deal to me.

All donors will have their names added to the Support page in the appropriate donation level. Once we switch to Yuku we'll have a detailed sidebar and donors names will be highlighted. I'm going to also add a text title to all donors names so that the community knows they are contributing financially to BookTalk.

Please consider even a $1 or $5 donation. ::51

I sent you a private message, but I'm not sure if you check your ezBoard InBox. Donations remind me that people do appreciate BookTalk and are happy to be involved, so it makes all the work well worth the effort. ::01

I have just payed for another 6 months of our Gold membership, which is why you all see the "Community Chest" removed from the top of the forums page. Money donated into the Community Chest can only be spent on ezBoard services, so I don't want or need any more donations to that account.

But we do still need and ask for donations. You can visit our Support page by clicking on any of the Support links on the top orange link bar. Donations should be made to our PayPal account in order to allow that money to help fund our hosting fees, advertisement expenses, design fees, chat room fee, etc...

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I hate asking, but the reality is this site costs far more than our Amazon.com and Google AdSense affiliations generate.

Chris, to where could I send a check? (I don't have credit cards so I can't pay via paypal). And would I just make it out to Booktalk or what? Thanks.

We don't have a BookTalk bank account as there isn't a need at this point. I personally pay all expenses out of my own bank account, so the way to make a donations would simply be to send a check written out in my name to the following address:

I appreciate the thought and will be very happy if you decide to help in any way. I'm shocked that of the thousands of people that have visited BookTalk over the years only a small handful have reached into their pockets to help. Those that did I can't thank enough.
