Hey, just for shits & giggles
Do a Google search on Ann Coulter 666 and see how many hits you get.
Another good one is Bush funded Nazis. |

Hmmm...can I wear gloves and have a vomit bucket nearby? If so, I would read it...so long as I could do it where she does not make any money of a sale or a credit for being checked out of a library. I would really have to find the book lying in a gutter...which should be a good chance.

It would be for the purpose of gaining some insight on how today's Neo-Cons are being trained to think rather than reading for pleasure.
But I give them credit for the marketing stategy of putting the book out on 6/6/06. |

| She reminds me of that other Protestant (I think Protestant) lady who went on the news program, CNN or something, and tried to tell the country that God is mad at us and is the reason for 9/11 and people's children coming home dead from the war. Her interview was posted here on booktalk, I saw it, but now I can't find it. |

There is a reason she is known as "Hitler with Tits"
Coulter calls 9/11 widows "Witches".
I guess it is vogue to be insulting and arrogant...at least in the Republican party nowadays.

Yesterday, while in a Barnes & Nobles, I picked up and read a random page. What luck. The part I read pertained to evolution and how she believed biological evolution, and specifically the evolution of humans from lower animals, was complete bunk and based on the very same "faith" as religious beliefs. I almost threw up on the book.
As I was reading I couldn't help but drift to the perpetually dicussed "faith vs. reason" topic of BookTalk. While religious beliefs can and do lead to a whole spectrum of life enhancing emotions - what about the dangers?? Doesn't it sicken you guys to know that these very same religious beliefs are the reason why bright, intelligent people completely dismiss the abundance of empirical evidence supporting the evolution of life? No matter what the evidence is a core group of religious believers will, by default, reject any and all theories that don't prop up the myths of their religious traditions. This disgusts me to no end.
And for those that think that these people are rejecting evolution because of reason or science think again. In all the decades I have been discussing and debating this topic I have NEVER met one atheist that doesn't accept the basics of biological evolution. Yes, they exist, but like lottery winners we just don't meet them very often. |
