This edition came out later, and is the one I have read. I recommend that this discussion use this text where possible, although those who have the earlier edition have almost the same book. Gaiman explains that his preferred text includes some material cut from the earlier book, and deletes some material. It also has Reading-group Discussion Questions and an interview with the author. There is a Caveat, and Warning for Travellers, and an Introduction to This Text written in July 2005.
I propose to use the Reading-Group Discussion Questions as initial threads for this discussion.
